These Terms govern your use of String Align Pro (the "app"), a wheel alignment calculator published by RaceTracs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
String Align Pro provides recommendations, not engineering advice
All outputs — toe, total toe, thrust angle, camber readings and reports — are guidance only, calculated from the measurements you enter.
You must independently verify every input (string-to-rim distances, wheel diameter, camber). Incorrect measurements produce incorrect results.
You must independently verify every output against your own engineering judgement, the manufacturer's specification for the vehicle, and where appropriate a qualified motorsport engineer.
Wheel alignment affects the handling, stability and safety of a moving vehicle. RaceTracs Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from your use of — or reliance on — any result produced by the app. You use the app at your own risk, and setup decisions are yours alone.
1Who we are
String Align Pro is published by RaceTracs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 16732423, registered office Y Gwernen, Dryslwyn, Carmarthen, SA32 8SA, United Kingdom.
2Licence to use the app
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use String Align Pro on devices you own or control, for personal or professional motorsport use. This licence does not permit redistribution, resale or sub-licensing.
3Purchase and refunds
Where the app or any feature is sold, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms.
- All purchases are handled by Apple or Google.
- Refund requests must be made to Apple or Google directly — RaceTracs Ltd cannot issue refunds for App Store or Play Store transactions.
- We receive only anonymised, aggregate sales information from Apple and Google.
4Your data
String Align Pro is a standalone app with no accounts, no cloud storage and no server. All measurements, saved jobs and reports are stored only on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5Accuracy and method
The app implements the string-line alignment method and standard alignment geometry. Results depend entirely on the accuracy of your measurements and your string-box setup being square and centred. The app cannot detect an incorrectly set rig.
6Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaceTracs Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, or for loss or corruption of data.
7Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.
8Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
