?Frequently asked

How do I measure for the app?

Set your string box square and equally spaced from the hubs, front and rear. For each wheel, measure the distance from the string to the front edge and the rear edge of the rim, and enter both. Enter the wheel diameter measured at the rim edge where the string sits — not the tyre.

Can I work in inches or degrees?

Yes. Use the Measurement switch to enter distances in millimetres or inches, and the Toe readout switch to read toe in millimetres, inches or degrees. Camber is in degrees. You can switch at any time without re-entering anything.

What is the thrust angle telling me?

It's the direction the rear axle points relative to the car's chassis centreline. A non-zero thrust angle means the car will tend to crab even if the front and rear are each "aligned" — which is why it's worth setting up from the centreline.

How do I save and reopen a job?

Enter an alignment name and tap Save Job. Tap Load Job to reopen any saved alignment, with its measurements and units restored. Saved jobs are kept on your device.

Where is my data stored, and is it safe if I update the app?

All data is stored in the app's private storage on your device. App updates keep your saved jobs. Removing the app deletes its data, so export or note anything you need to keep before uninstalling.

How do I get a report?

Generate the PDF report from within the app and share or save it using your device's standard share options. The report uses whatever units you're currently working in.
